How long will it take to get my order?

 Delivery in New Zealand is usually within 2-5 working days of receipt of order. Delivery times quoted are subject to product availability. We will advise you if an order is to be delayed. Please let us know if you require your purchase urgently and we will work with you try to ensure this happens.

Our International parcels are sent by New Zealand Post and take between 7-14 working days to arrive.


How do I pay for my order?

 We accept payment by direct credit, cheque, and credit card via Paypal. After your order is submitted we will automatically send you an email with the direct credit and cheque details. For customers that request to pay with credit card on the shopping cart, you will be transferred to a securely hosted page through Paypal.


How will my order be shipped?

 We use Courier Post and NZ Post for all our New Zealand deliveries and usually take between 2-5 days for delivery.

What happens if my parcel does not arrive or is lost in the post?

We send out an email to you when your order has been dispatched. Please contact us within 7 days of that date if your parcel has not been received so that we can lodge an enquiry with the postal and courier service. We do not issue replacements or refunds for items that are lost in the post, until after the investigation and claim is completed by NZ Post and Post Haste Couriers. 

What is your returns policy?

If you are not 100% happy with the items you have ordered, please email us at and let us know the reasons why you are not satisfied. If you return your order to us within 14 days of the shipping date, unused, with the goods undamaged and in their original packaging, we will be happy to offer a full refund of the purchase price or exchange the goods for another item.

Please Note:

  • We do not refund your freight costs.   If your order qualified for free freight we will deduct the freight amount you would have paid from your refund amount.
  • We will only accept goods returned with prior notification
  • We cannot accept any goods that have been worn, used, have their labels removed, altered or damaged.
  • We only accept items returned if they are within their original packaging.
  • Maternity World reserves the right to refuse to take the goods back or to charge a restocking fee of up to 10% if the item is returned later than 14 days after approval given.



What is your exchange policy?

Maternity World cannot always guarantee availability of products as our stock is seasonal and most items we only stock one of. If you would like to exchange for a different size, please follow the instructions noted above for returns.

We regret that we are unable to refund original shipping and handling costs, unless the item was faulty or not as ordered.

Outward shipping will not be charged on your first size exchange, but you must return the goods to us. It is your responsibility to ensure goods arrive safely to the return address.  

If you have indicated to exchange for an item that is sold out or that is delayed, we will notify you of the situation via email. It would be helpful if you can also indicate an alternate style, in case we cannot fill your first choice. If your exchange is above the price of the original order, we will need to contact you for your credit card details. For overseas exchanges, delivery costs will be at original shipping charges.


What happens if my item is faulty?

Very occasionally a product may develop a manufacturer's fault & we will do all we can to resolve this to your satisfaction.

We will happily meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act if our products have been wrongly described, develop a fault or are not fit for the purpose described.  Please email us immediately at and we will arrange a satisfactory outcome.


Can you gift wrap my order?

We offer a complimentary gift wrapping service and can include a hand written note with the parcel.  Please remember to put the recipients address in the delivery field at checkout.

Do you sell gift vouchers and how do I redeem a voucher?

Gift vouchers are available in $25, $50, $75, $100, $150 and $200 amounts.   Your voucher can be emailed to you or direct to the recipient.   

Vouchers come with a unique code that can be used as payment at checkout.   You just need to enter the voucher code in the space provided at our shopping cart. All Maternity World vouchers must be redeemed in one transaction only, no refunds will be made. There will be no balances left remaining. If you need to spend more than the value of the voucher you can top up the payment with any of our usual payment methods.

Vouchers are valid for 6 months from their issue date.

What is your privacy policy?

Maternity World does not collect or store any credit card information. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure web page to enter your payment details via a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This method ensures that the information submitted is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorized users.

Maternity World will not share your personal information with any other third party. We will never disclose your email address or any other personal information to any third party.

Whilst all care is taken to offer a secure system we cannot provide a 100% guaranteed secure system. Please note, the information you provide is provided at your own risk.
